This policy explains what data we collect when you use the smsvaga.com website, the SMSVaga portal and the Beekeeping Diary, why we collect it and what your rights are. The data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable national data protection law.

The website presents the product. We ask you for data only if you contact us yourself.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the enquiry. Messages are kept for as long as the correspondence lasts and at most one year after it, unless the enquiry leads to a contract — the retention periods of the store then apply.
Cookies: the site sets no cookies at all and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics, no advertising network and no tracking tool, and no content is loaded from anyone else's servers. That is why we do not ask for cookie consent — there is nothing to consent to. The language is chosen by going to a separate page, so even that is not remembered.
The portal shows the readings your scale sends from the apiary.

The legal basis is the performance of the contract — without this data the service does not exist. Readings are kept for as long as you hold an account, because you need them to compare seasons.
The diary is the record of your beekeeping and uses the same account as the portal.

Records are kept for as long as you hold an account. On deletion of the account the data is removed, save for what we are required to retain by law.
Where several beekeepers keep hives in the same place, the owner of a scale may share its readings with another user. This happens only on the explicit consent of the owner, given through the application, and the owner may withdraw it at any time. Whoever the scale is shared with sees only the readings of that one scale — not the owner's hives, records or other scales.
Data is stored and processed on servers in Europe, with contracted service providers operating in accordance with the GDPR. No transfer outside that area is carried out without an appropriate legal basis. Backups are made daily and kept for two years, under the same protective conditions.
We do not sell your data and do not disclose it to third parties for marketing. We pass it on only where necessary:
Only you have access to your records. Staff of the controller access the data solely where necessary for technical support or fault resolution, and are bound by confidentiality.

Requests go to smsvaga@gmail.com. We reply without undue delay and within 30 days at the latest. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — in Serbia the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, or with the authority of your own country of residence.
All three services run over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Passwords are stored encrypted. No payment card data is collected, here or in the store.
The services are not intended for persons under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data about children.
